Winterize your skin with Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion

February 3, 2009

How’s your skin looking mom?  are the kids playing tic-tac-toe on your thigh?  perhaps you haven’t let it get that far – yet.  With the right products your skin never  has to go through that.

Winterize your skincare with Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion.  My family and friends did and saw a wonderful difference in our skin in a very short time.

Boy2001 insisted on unscented.  He is a little afraid of all the scents being too feminine but needs good moisture on his knees and elbows every day just the same. He’s been using it for a few weeks now and there’s been a huge improvement in his skin since he’s started using Clinical Therapy.

Your skin may just be a little dry and need the slightest touch of winterizing like me, just apply every night and wake up with soft skin the next morning.

Skin is soft to the touch and will take you through the day without feeling itchy or scratchy.  Isn’t that the most embarassing thing? Or catching a callous on a stocking or something — talk about mortification! Spare yourself all those potentially embarassing moments by becoming a user.

Maman (my mom) has also become a big fan as she has persistently dry skin.  It’s done wonders for the texture of her skin and she’d recommend it to anyone looking to have a more youthful appearance.

Now about the name…

I must admit the name sounds scary to those of us on a budget.  ‘Clinical Therapy’ doesn’t normally come cheap you know.  It could even involve a doctor’s prescription but rest assured that is not the case!  You can get Clinical Therapy over the counter at your leisure.  There’s no excuse not to get the skin you deserve at a great price available locally.

About the campaign…

Every once in a while you see a cute campaign and think, “wow, they did a great job with that.”  Prescribe the Nation is one such campaign.  Vaseline recruited a lady from a small town of 6,000 in Alaska to see if she would prescribe informally to people she cared about.  After using the product and being happy with the results, she did.  Watch the vids and results of the prescriptions from young to old and how they feel about the product.

Fun things to do on the Prescribe the Nation Site:

  • Win a vacation to Alaska! click on over and prescribe yourself into a WIN!
  • Download a $1 off coupon for Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion
  • Meet Petal Ruch and read all the stories

Thanks to the FRN for this great review opp!

oopsy Daisy! beautiful baby Kiddo Kream Moisturizer Product Review

June 19, 2008

Kiddo Kream by oopsy daisy!

oopsy Daisy! isn’t that the absolute cutest name ever?  I can’t stand it, soo adorable!

I have been using oopsy Daisy!  beautiful baby Kiddo Kream Moisturizer on girl 2006 and girl2004 and loving it.  It is a luxurious cream that smells so good, it spreads like liquid silk and absorbs into baby’s skin fast.

It would be good anytime but we usually do our moisturizing after bedtime bath.  Kiddo Kream has a very fresh all-natural scent smelling like lavender fields on a hot sunny day - at the same time it’s very calming and soothing.

Kiddo Kream is safe for baby too, no parabens, no SLS, no DEA, no formaldehyde, no petroleum. No artificial fragrances and dyes.  I love how soft the girls’ skin has been since using oopsy Daisy!

FYI, the oopsy Daisy!  Kiddo Kream Ingredients:

Water, shea butter, carnauba wax (from carnauba palm), jojoba oil, carbomer (vegetable cellulose), grapeseed extract, natural fragrance/essential oils of: sweet pea, grapefruit and lavender, aloe vera leaf extract, vegetable squalene (from olive oil).

If your babe has curly hair check out my next oopsy Daisy! review

oh no this is what I did

March 30, 2008

NOTHING!

today was super boring, we left late so I didn’t get to do anything in Portland, I’d planned to get the MAC Heatherette collection in my brain but that didn’t happen.  We just went to dinner, DSW for two pair shoes — too cute! and the Dollar Store.

Other than that I poured over my SEPHORA beauty book and *really* wanted to buy new make up today!  uggh, I’m so irritated because I have to wait until next week – gas is so expensive, I def can’t swing new makeup PLUS gas!

Tomorrow I’m totally re-organizing boy2001′s room, his stuff is totally out of control, waaaay too many legos.  The crazy thing is he knows all the pieces that go together.  He digs through this humongous treasure chest and finds some little obscure piece and knows that’s the right one.  It’s crazy, how do kids do it?  We’ve been calling him “the Professor” lately… remember we’re Gilligan’s Island fans?  He is so into building things and using big words, he’s been totally cracking me up lately!

 Until next time…
