I'm living my dream life, spending my days with my three sweet kids on the rocky coast of Maine...

boy2001 is a loveable 2nd grade LEGO brick master. An average week includes a round of golf, some time at the track with a smidgeon of Nintendo DS time.

girl2004 is a Care Bears enthusiast when she's not twirling to imaginary ballet, she's gleefully giggling to pink princess daydreams or requesting baking sessions.

girl2006 is an Elmo and Little People Fanatic, she insists on wearing tights and dresses everyday, as well as reading our 'I Love You' books everyday. She shares my love for Little House on the Prairie.

My personal goals are to go back to school for my Masters, possibly in Library Studies or Biblical Languages.

Smokey is our playful pup, half chihuahua, half rat terrier he's a handsome dog, although very good with the children Smokey does have his issues!

Chexter is our roborovski hamster, over a year old he's recently started to nip a little!

We are in the midst of a snow day – AGAIN!
ok, this is getting tiring, it’s not even winter yet and we are on our 3rd or 4th home bound snow day! It’s really nice to have the kids out of school, BUT it’s also nice to have a schedule and of course there are only two more days til school is out for the Christmas break and I need time to organize! Yesterday was girl2004′s Christmas pageant during the time I normally have to do things and collect my thoughts. Here’s my abbreviated list:

**menu
**schedule: crafts, Advent activities
**laundry so I don’t have to do it til next week
**some homeschooling lessons with hooked on phonics and susan bauer’s book, working on handwriting for girl2004

not to mention my favorite things to do, products to test and books to read

I want to look into Zillow.com for realestate, looks interesting.

when I’m feeling down I’ll sit down and write a letter to the future and cheer myself up imagining my kids at that time.

Get started on seeing more of the new 7 wonders of the world, so far I’ve been to Chichen Itza and Christ the Redeemer new7wonders.com

Manic Monday Meme December 3

*** What’s the longest you’ve ever waited in line?

I don’t know but I remember the emotions, I am pretty sure I waited the longest in line with my mother when I was a child. I remember Department stores like macy’s and that smell of women who’d been in their pantyhose too long all around me, remember I was a shorty back then. eeewwww Waiting forever myself and the other children would lay down on dirty carpets, some falling asleep some crying.

*** It’s been said that, “The best things in life are free.” Do you think this is true? Why or why not?

Yes, I think that is true, you really can’t buy the best things in life, family is something you create and maintain. Another thing is nature, sunsets and long walks are enjoyed by young and old.

*** If you could go back in time and re-live one day in your life, which day would you choose and why?

This is a toughie… I have several days like this and I’d have to say it would be the day before boy2001 was born.

I would have lived that day as if it were my last, I know that sounds bad, but having your first child completely changes your life so quickly from one minute to the next (admittedly I’ve had easy pregnancies and childbirths) that I wish I’d taken some more me time before hand. Although you may love the experience the second and third time around you will have other children at home and feel more directional pulls. that day before the first child is crucial.

Total spa day, full body massage, haircut, mani/pedi. I was so concerned with saving up because I’d be a SAHM I didn’t treat myself well… now when I look at the pictures of the ABSOLUTE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE with boy2001 I see my furry eye brows and non-manicured hands.

Thanks to the Manic Monday Meme for this great Meme
