Girl2004 just turned 3 and she is more adorable than ever… has the attention span of a gnat but is “tooo coot” (mimicking her dialect). My kids have become real little Mainers, to me anyway. I did hear that most Mainers won’t consider them full-fledged because their parents (my husband and myself) are “from away”. As one woman put it, “just because the cat has her kittens in an oven doesn’t make them muffins”.
I bought a couple of Angelina (c’est Jolie) things when Girl2004 was born. I got a really cute Alice doll and outfits from Target, and the camping set off ebay, the 5 softcover books, the little brother and finger puppet.
My mother bought a sweet little doll and made three gorgeous outfits and a mini quilt. I refuse to give her the little mini quilt, my mother made it exquisitely (like she does everything else) and won first prize at her guild.
