I must be totally out of it, the loop is somewhere over my head!  I was looking at the most popular searches and have NO idea who most of the people are!

I don’t even have a myspace page - yet!  I have been on youtube though and LOVE looking at the videos people put on there.  I’m going to transform lots of stuff we have on tapes to upload them on there.  I think youtubers would really enjoy some of our travel footage.

At least I know who Paris Hilton is, is there anyone in the U.S. who doesn’t?  I think it’s a great idea to have her teach a class at the Learning Annex.  If people don’t want to see her they just won’t go, I bet there’ll be a huge line waiting to get in just to see her.  If anyone knows about branding and self promotion, it’s her!

This was really exciting!!  *My* first track meet - ok, the idea was exciting but MAN was it loooooooooooong and hooooot and bo-ring and times! 

We got there about 10:30 and left at 3:30… boy2001 did really well, he ran the 2 laps, 800 the 400 and the relay… I’m really excited for him.  He came in second but could have come in first each time if he wanted to. 

He really gave little effort to win, he just follows the leader, it’s so funny!  he has not learned that killer instinct you have to have to WIN!  maybe that will change, It doesn’t really matter if he wins or loses but I want to see him get some intensity at competitions. 

Whatever, if he doesn’t want to win and only participate that’s fine! (I am really trying to convince me, not you guys) hmmph…

 if he had no chance of winning it would be different, but when he’s passing 8 year olds with little to no effort, it is annoying that he doesn’t put in that little extra effort to come in first.  I’m embarassed to say I even  tried to bribe him to run faster by offering to go buy a Sponge Bob Lego set he’s been asking for.

I’ll still buy the lego set for him, remember that Hallmark commercial when the little girl wins at ice skating and the mom gives her a card?  then she gives her another card in case she lost which was EXACTLY the same?  So will be the outcome of the first track meet.

If anyone has any advice, about not becoming a sidelines mommy (comparable to a stage mother) please let me know!

Pajama Mom is on her waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Today was such a hot day here in Maine! We’re not used to so much heat, I don’t even have air conditioning! I guess it’s not helpful to have a hot laptop on you for 2 hours but I cannot stand watching kid shows and with the heat my kidlets have been inside watching a Jimmy Neutron DVD I got suckered into yesterday.

I wish there was a service out there to make friends.  It could work similarly to eHarmony (at least what I know about the service) and match people up for same sex friendships based on profiles.  I’ve had best friends but I haven’t had a really good friend for 7 years!! It’s really a shame, I guess it’s this phase of my life is devoted to my kids, but it would be nice to have an “aunt” figure for them.  Someone who was interested in my kids but also a friend for me, hopefully with kids of her own.  Still looking for my Ethyl.

we did a lot of the things on our Funday Sunday List. We even added some things, the one thing I wanted to do was go for a long walk down our street, we just got lazy and I could not resist jumping on the computer 3 times for 15 minutes.

I also started up a new website, but it’s going to take a looooong time… see my review of hosting experiences…

I’m a t.v. person, if I could I would stay home and watch t.v. all the time, I love it! I love reality shows, Oprah and old sitcoms. Have you been catching my references to shows like I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, Little House on the Prairie and many more! I grew up in New York, so I never got a chance to just play outside. I always had to be escorted by my babysitter, Anna, or my parents.

My husband is more of a music person which is in direct conflict with me. He’s always trying to turn on the radio or put on a cd, an entire cd of the same artist?!K#< Is he out of his mind!>? I can’t stand it, I much rather throw on a DVD of one of my favorite t.v. shows, a news program or documentary. Definately consider all this before you get married!

We are setting out to have the most fun packed into one day tomorrow!  No one activity will last very long and we must stay home! Sunday will the best day ever for us!  Here is just some of our itinerary, insert a group hug between EACH activity:

• donuts for breakfast
• hide & seek
• go for a long walk down our street
• fingerpainting
• playdough
• reading time (Barefoot Books of course!)
• Hotties & hammies for lunch (aka hotdogs & hamburgers)
• movie of the day, probably Gulliver’s Travels I got $1 DVD @ Walmart
• run run run outside
• mommy & daddy nap time, kids freeplay
• dinner time (take out Chinese)
• bath & book time again each child read to seperately
• night night kisses

what does your Sunday look like?

I have found some REALLY good titles for $1 at Walmart!  Right now Boy2001 and I are watching Animal Farm, based on George Orwell’s book.  It is an awesome film, boy2001 is really enjoying it.  The book would be much too hard for him but the movie will provide him with a knowledge of the story and he can understand some of the major points.  Four legs good two legs bad.

We’re just sitting here bored because my garage sale is in the process of getting rained out.

I’m watching The Good Shepard right now, someone tell me it’s worth my time!! I just cannot focus on it right now, too much blog on the brain. I just saw a part with Castro parading his captives. The beautiful lady who raised me, Anna came in on the freedom flights from Cuba. She was an incredibly beautiful old woman, about 65 when I was born. She took care of me as soon as my mother went back to work off maternity leave. Anna was a wonderful woman who let me watch any type of t.v. show I wanted!! She also gave me lots of hugs and kisses, took me to the park every day and made me jello, cherry of course! She made me toast in the oven and would scrape the burnt parts off, she didn’t need a toaster… toasters are for sissies.
