I was so tired tonight we ate at McDonald’s, the happy meal toys are from Shrek the Third so I decided to check out the schedule for the movie starting on Friday.
While I was there I decided to get my tickets for the show which will probably sell out. So we’re all set with our tickets. I really enjoyed the first movie, boy2001 was a tiny babe at the time and I remember I left him with my DH to go see Shrek late one night, it was my first night out of the house after baby.
Fast forward two years or so… I was pregnant with girl2004 and a full time college student when Shrek 2 came out, so I decided to stay home and do my homework while father and son went to see it. It really didn’t appeal to me at the time but my son loved puss ‘n boots.
My mother is a quilting dynamo and wanted to do something special for boy2001 who loved both the movies so she made a fabulous quilt for him.
Now I cannot wait to see the third, I predicted while they were advertising the second movie that the third would have kids. I hope this movie lives up to my expectations.
