today was our MOPS Spring Tea

March 22, 2007

Today was our MOPS group Spring Tea, everything went well, but it is hard to “think spring” when there’s snow banks everywhere.

I ate a little, but wish I could have had more! The tea was weak, but hey, it was my fault… I only put one bag per pot. I got back on track for lunch and snack so hopefully my nutrisystem will stick work for me. I’m blogging about my results with nutrisystem on my other blog: http://steepingbeauty.wordpress.com

it’s been so hectic… need more time to blog

March 15, 2007

I’ve just now started doing the things I’d planned to do in the New Year!! I took the Christmas holiday season off. The time I spent with my family, relaxed cannot be replaced. I will cherish it as long as I live.

I did, however make some written plans in a notebook during that time, of all the fantastic things I was going to get done when I got back to the computer. I spent a few minutes looking over it and cannot believe it is March and most, if not all, of the items remain undone!

Time definately slips away when you have kids, but not to this extent! this is a 1/4 of the year I’m talking about. I am in a totaly state of shock, my nights have been filled with Netflix movies and to catch a predator shows. I am really trying to get back into the swing of things, I’m getting there, slowly but surely.

Appetite: just started my new "diet"

I finally made a push last week and started a new diet!

I am so sick of this extra weight (no, I am not telling you how much I want to lose!!). I am on day 3 and I’ve lost 6 pounds! I am thrilled… Just in case you’re wondering, I bought the nutrisystem plan… I’ve been wanting to try it for years but figured it was too expensive.

So, if you’re like me, it was 5 weeks of food for $283 plus I will get 8% back through ebates. I will keep you all posted on my progress.
